COVID-19 Guidelines

Indoor services have been suspended temporarily.

In keeping with State, County, and NCC directives, face masks are REQUIRED to be worn by all attendees. 

(Extra masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer are available.)

SUSPENDED until further notice:

  • In-person Children’s Sabbath School classes
  • Printed bulletins

Access to the following locations is RESTRICTED:

  • Kitchen (authorized personnel only)
  • All water fountains (water bottles will be made available as needed)
  • All downstairs rooms except for the bathrooms
  • All upstairs rooms (exception for the Sound Room, which is open to authorized personnel only)


  • Seating: Chairs in groups, spaced 6 feet in all directions.  Please only sit with members of your immediate household. 
  • Attendance Limit: 70 people maximum.
  • Bathrooms: No more than TWO people in the bathrooms at a time.
  • Tithes & offerings: Online giving options are available.
  • Modified service: The time frame for entire service, including Sabbath School lesson study and Divine Service, is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 
  • Cleaning: The church will be cleaned and disinfected between each service, including high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and bathroom fixtures.

If you are ill or experiencing any symptoms of illness, in kind consideration for the health and safety of others whose condition of health you do not know, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND SERVICE.

In keeping with State, County, and NCC directives, if an individual with COVID-19 attends a service or enters the building, deep cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted, consistent with the Centers for Disease Control guidance.
Please note: Sebastopol SDA Church’s board of elders will be reviewing the guidelines presented here periodically, keeping them in line with current state and county regulations as well as directives from the Northern California Conference of SDA (NCC).
